The book “The Sky of the Small Village” mainly writes that the protagonist Tang Ruiyu lives in Taiwan. Their parents are busy but have no time to spend with them. Therefore, Tang Ruiyu was given a “rich and diverse” “talent class”. Parents have to return to the mainland for work reasons, and they must be sent to live with their grandparents living in the countryside of Taitung. The little boy who has been living in the big city has overcome all kinds of difficulties and discomforts. Finally, he found his grandparents who love him in the small village, handed in friends who like him, and found his favorite sports – baseball… small village. Everything became so beautiful and changed him. Just like Tang Ruiyu’s grandmother said: “Life always meets beautiful scenery at the corner”.
When I saw that Tang Ruiyu was alone in various talent classes, when Mom and Dad had no time to accompany them, my tears couldn’t help but scream at me: Poor Tang Ruiyu! I think that I have encountered problems in my usual time, and that my father and mother are not around, I don’t know how much wronged? And Tang Ruiyu, don’t want to get help from Mom and Dad, even the face of Mom and Dad is hard to see, not to be able to enjoy family music like I can on weekends?
Seeing that when Tang Ruiyu fell in love with baseball and fell in love with the small village, Mom and Dad suddenly said that they would take him away. I am really angry! I want to say to Tang Ruiyu’s father and mother: “How can you completely ignore the feelings of the children? Why don’t you care what our children think? You just think that parents are trying to earn money to support their families and give them a lot of interest classes. Is it responsible for the child? You really missed it!”
I also want to tell all my moms and dads that when children need to discipline, you choose to earn money without discipline. Then parents don’t earn enough money for their children to lose a year. If the parents chose to discipline their children at that time, then the parents would not have earned the money in their lifetime, and the child would earn it in a year. What the children need is not money at all, but the companionship of their parents. However, the parents don’t know anything about it. They don’t even think about how the child sees it. It is only mechanically believed that as long as you earn a lot of money, you are responsible for your child. Everyone said that the parents of the world are poor, but I feel that the world is a pity for the children. Parents always ignore the feelings of the children just to let the children learn a lot of talents. It is the child who is tired and indifferent. I hope that the parents in the world will remember that what the children need most is not the parents’ money, but the companionship of their parents and the love of their parents.
After reading this story, I was finally happy for Tang Ruiyu because he found himself. He is no longer only on the way to various talent classes. In the small village, he discovered the beauty of nature, found the love of grandparents, and dared to admit his mistakes.
